This sketch takes a humorous look at the expectations imposed upon a new
marriage. Both the bride and groom carry into this covenant a tremendous
unspoken, often unrealized, load of demands. Each hopes the other will
provide what has, up till now, been missing in life. The purpose of this
sketch is to show that behind the nice words of the wedding vows are two
scared people, desperately hoping that marriage will make them happy.
